Highpoint Health Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking an experienced RN for Women’s Services/Labor & Delivery. The role covers night shifts in a 3×12 schedule (7 pm–7 am) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

You’ll provide direct care, manage med administration, document care, and coordinate with the care team to support moms and babies. Applicants should hold a Tennessee RN license, have an associate degree (BSN preferred), and at least 2 years in labor & delivery.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee or compact RN license.
• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years labor and delivery experience.
• Certifications: BLS within 30 days; ACLS within 6 months; NRP within 3 months; STABLE; AWHONN Fetal Monitoring preferred.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
