Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Birthplace at M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. The role is a 0.6 FTE with 12-hour night shifts, every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, HSA, dental, vision and more. The Birthplace unit handles Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum patients, with 13 postpartum beds and a 5-bed L&D area, serving around 400 births yearly.

Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required.
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience as an RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Develop and implement an individualized nursing plan of care.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and health team members to coordinate care.
• Document data, outcomes, and plan of care for continuity.
• Evaluate patient response to interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Prioritize interventions based on acuity and available resources.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
