Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, MN, seeks an RN for Labor & Delivery, 0.7 FTE (56 hours per pay period), nights with every other weekend rotation. Shifts are 8 hours; call per unit policy. The role requires training as a charge nurse and ongoing professional development within the department.

Minimum qualifications include 1 year of maternal health RN experience (or related capstone/preceptorship), RN license in Minnesota, and graduation from an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent maternal health RN experience and/or completion of a maternal health capstone/preceptorship
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Possession of a valid RN license issued by the State of Minnesota

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care within the Patient and Family Centered Care model
• Protect, promote, and optimize health; prevent illness and injury
• Alleviate suffering through treatment of the human response
• Partner with patient and family and significant others
• Document interventions and an individualized plan of care
