Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift assignment in Minnesota. The role requires post-partum and Level II Nursery experience, with active MN RN license (pending accepted) and BCLS/NRP certifications.

Minimum 2 years L&D experience and IV Start skills are required, with triage experience preferred. The position involves 4x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates, and includes a generous housing

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted).
• Current BCLS and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Post-Partum experience required.
• Level II Nursery experience required.
• IV Start skills required.
• Triage experience preferred.
• Minimum one supervisor reference required.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit with 17 rooms/beds.
• Average census of 3 laboring patients, 3-4 post-partum patients, and 1-2 Level II nursery babies.
• Night shift, 4x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with 3x12 or 4x12 scheduling options.
• Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, post-partum, and Level II nursery patient populations.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered.
• Returning travelers must have a 3-month gap since last working as a perm employee (staff or per diem) at this facility.
• RTO ideally no more than 5 days.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Facility does not provide references to travelers post-assignment or to those who previously worked as perm employees.
