Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and at least one (1) year of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse license in TX on hire.
• CPR certification (Basic Life Support) within 14 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient condition on admission and during stay; provides nursing care to meet physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Designs, directs, evaluates, and documents the plan of care and daily goals; coordinates with other disciplines.
• Prepares patients for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostics; communicates changes to the team and physician.
• Reassesses patients after interventions and adjusts care as needed.
• Gives and receives bedside shift reports; ensures continuity of care for oncoming shifts.
• Maintains safe patient environment and reports safety concerns promptly.
