Job summary

St. Luke’s Health – Memorial – Lufkin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care across the patient care continuum.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, implement and monitor care plans, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing with 1+ year of RN experience, CPR within 14 days, NRP within 6 months, and demonstrate strong critical thinking in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 14 days.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months.
• Stable Program within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and plan of care.
• Design, direct, and document daily care plans and education.
• Prepare patients for procedures and communicate changes to physicians.
• Reassess and modify care based on patient needs.
• Provide bedside reporting and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain safe patient environment and report hazards.
