Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing and active RN license in TX.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• CPR (Basic Life Support) completed within the required timeframe; NRP and ACLS within the stated months.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission and ongoing patient assessments and communicate changes to doctors.
• Plan and document the plan of care with patient/family education and discharge needs.
• Prepare patients for treatments, provide care, and ensure safety with medication practices.
• Reassess patient status and adjust care as needed; notify physicians.
• Provide bedside shift reports to ensure continuity of care with families involved.
• Maintain safe environment and equipment, report safety hazards.
