• BSN and at least 1 year RN experience.
• Competence in Registered Nurse performance expectations or meets experience on hire.
• TX RN license at hire.
• BLS CPR within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: admits and assesses patient condition and plans care.
• Planning: designs and documents the plan of care and discharge needs.
• Implementation: prepares patients and ensures safety with care and interventions.
• Evaluation: reassesses care and communicates changes to the physician.
• Report Skills: provides clear bedside reports to oncoming shift.
