Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking Ambassadors to support scheduling, timekeeping, and labor management across departments. You will help ensure accurate labor data, timely schedules, and payroll accuracy while working with leaders and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, Excel proficiency, and the ability to adapt to flexible, operational schedules in a dynamic theme park environment. Previous experience in workforce management is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18+ required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in progress preferred.
  • Experience in scheduling, timekeeping, payroll support or workforce management preferred.
  • Familiarity with Workday timekeeping editor, TMM or similar systems preferred.
  • Strong Excel and Office skills; ability to analyze labor data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; teamwork-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Support workforce planning, scheduling, and timekeeping operations with accurate labor data.
  • Create and revise area schedules per policy and operations needs.
  • Act as primary scheduling editor for assigned departments.
  • Act as primary timekeeping editor ensuring payroll accuracy.
  • Audit timekeeping records and verify staff positions for pay differentials.
  • Produce labor forecasts and maintain data in labor systems.
  • Identify labor trends and suggest efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare schedules to support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide labor reporting and scheduling insights to leaders.
  • Train ambassadors and leaders on scheduling and labor systems.
  • Assist with incentive payments, gratuities, or commissions calculations.

What You Get To Do

You will support workforce planning, scheduling, and timekeeping operations by ensuring accurate labor data, efficient scheduling practices, and compliance with company policies.

You Will Also
  • Analyze labor utilization, staffing patterns, and operational needs to support workforce planning
  • Create, disseminate, and revise area schedules in accordance with company policy and operational needs
  • Serve as the primary scheduling editor for assigned departments
  • Serve as the primary timekeeping editor for assigned departments, ensuring payroll and timekeeping accuracy
  • Audit timekeeping records and verify staff positions for shift differentials and payroll accuracy
  • Maintain accurate labor forecasts and operational data within labor management systems
  • Identify labor trends and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and cost management
  • Prepare line schedules to support departmental budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide operational leaders with labor reporting and scheduling insights
  • Support and train ambassadors and leaders on scheduling and labor management systems
  • Perform calculations for incentive programs, gratuities, or commissions as needed
  • Assist with labor budgeting preparation and analysis for departments
  • Serve as backup support for scheduling, payroll preparation tasks, and labor reporting functions
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with ambassadors, leaders, and cross-functional teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What It Takes To Succeed
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing a degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Previous scheduling, timekeeping, payroll support, or workforce management experience preferred
  • Experience with Workday timekeeping editor, TMM applications, or similar workforce management systems preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to analyze labor data and identify trends or opportunities for improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in payroll and scheduling processes
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in team environments and collaborate with operational leaders

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 10 lbs occasionally
  • Position may involve walking and standing throughout shifts
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, fumes, dust, and odors
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and fine hand manipulation (keyboard/writing)
  • Flexible work location based on operational needs
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
