Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in San Diego seeks a proactive Ambassador Manager to coordinate the daily activities of retail, games, and photo units while driving profit and ensuring ambassador safety. You will lead a team, foster high morale, and deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of supervisory work, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred or relatable experience.
• Three (3) years management/supervisory experience, preferably in theme park or high-volume retail.
• Proficient in Microsoft software products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of several retail, games/vending, and photo units.
• Maintain ambassador satisfaction and morale while providing guest service.
• Provide exceptional, professional guest service in a team environment.
• Create new and incremental revenue opportunities.
• Manage labor, expense, and cost of goods budget.

What It Takes To Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or relatable experience.
• Three (3) years management and/or supervisory experience, preferred setting in a theme park or high-volume retail.
• Proficient in Microsoft software products.
• Demonstrated initiative, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; Confident and outgoing presence with the ability to professional interact with various levels of ambassadors and leadership.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with a detailed oriented style and strict deadlines.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills

What Else Is Important

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights
• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
• Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
• Available to work varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation

$70,304 annually
