Job summary

SeaWorld Orlando is seeking enthusiastic Ambassadors to supervise one or more storage venues, focusing on service, safety, and quality while driving guest experiences.

You will manage receiving, labeling, storage, distribution, inventory control, and SAP/MMS paperwork, while coaching ambassadors and supervisors and upholding SeaWorld grooming and employment standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50-100 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license.
• Previous warehouse leadership experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to work independently or lead multiple personnel.
• Knowledge of all department ambassador and supervisory roles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Willing to comply with SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee storage venues with focus on service, safety, and quality.
• Generate significant revenue while maintaining ambassador performance and guest service.
• Manage receiving, labeling, storage, and distribution of all warehouse goods.
• Ensure inventory quality and control of merchandise and culinary products.
• Communicate daily with leadership and process paperwork in SAP or MMS.
• Train ambassadors and assistant supervisors per SEA guidelines.
• Coach ambassadors and supervisors to ensure training and development.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and developmental documentation.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere and ambassador engagement.
• Adhere to opening/closing procedures and timely task completion.
• Follow PPE and safe work habits; maintain safe environment for guests and staff.

What you get to do:

You will supervise one or more storage venues with a focus on exceeding service, safety, and quality expectations. You will be responsible for generating significant revenue volume while also fostering a positive atmosphere and ensuring the highest level of Ambassador performance and guest service. You will:

• Oversee and assist in the receiving, labeling, storage, and distribution of all warehouse goods.
• Responsible for inventory quality and control of merchandise and culinary products.
• Communicate daily with all levels of leadership.
• Process daily paperwork in SAP or MMS system.
• Assist Warehouse leader with the training of ambassadors and assistant supervisors while ensuring and complying with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
• Supervise and counsel ambassadors and assistant supervisors will be ensuring proper training and development in accordance with SEA guidelines
• Complete appropriate paperwork and administer developmental documentation
• Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of ambassador engagement
• Comply with the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all ambassadors and assistant supervisor complete tasks within a timely manner
• Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting, and reporting unsafe situations
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for guests and ambassadors
• Maintain and enforce company standards and policies.

What it takes to succeed:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
• Must have a valid drivers’ license
• Previous warehouse experience required
• One (1) year of leadership experience with no significant performance deficiencies within last 6 months or equivalent external experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be a focused individual who can complete tasks independently, but also possess the ability to work within a group and lead multiple personnel
• Must be knowledgeable in all areas of the department including ambassador and supervisory roles*
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
• Must be willing to comply and ensure all ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
