Job summary

Colour Sound Experiment is opening a Nashville branch and is looking for a Labor Coordinator to join their team full time. The candidate must be based in Nashville.

The Labor Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing the right crew for projects and managing the balance between client demands and crew skillsets, with rate negotiation and logistics responsibilities. Role is full time with standard hours (Mon–Fri, 9AM–6PM) and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in touring, live events, or production staffing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to balance creative and practical considerations.

Responsibilities

• Crew sourcing, booking, and vetting - matching the right crew to each job.
• Maintaining and expanding our US crew database.
• Negotiating with crew and suppliers to get the best rates.
• Booking accommodations and transport for staff and crew.
• Assisting with navigating US standards and applying them to our company.
• Answering incoming calls, sign for packages and greet visitors in office.
• Liaising with Colour Sound Experiment offices worldwide.
• Purchasing supplies for office/warehouse requirements.
• Maintaining, operating, and improving office processes and administrative systems.
• Organizing meetings, including agendas, supporting documents and minutes.

Colour Sound Experiment is opening a Nashville branch and is looking for a Labor Coordinator to join their team full time. The candidate must be based in Nashville.

The Labor Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing the right crew for projects and managing the fine line between client demands and the skillsets required on the job. The role will also involve some rate negotiation, building relationships with client and crew, and logistical thinking. On top of these, the role requires keeping the office operating smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Crew sourcing, booking, and vetting - matching the right crew to each job
• Maintaining and expanding our US crew database
• Negotiating with crew and suppliers to get the best rates
• Booking accommodations and transport for staff and crew, ensuring they are cost effective and appropriate
• Assisting with navigating US standards and applying them to our company for hiring, deploying crew, and managing in-office local operations
• Answering incoming calls, sign for packages and greet visitors in office
• Liaising with other Colour Sound Experiment offices worldwide
• Purchasing supplies for office/warehouse requirements, ensuring spending is cost effective and appropriate
• Maintaining, effectively operating, and improving a range of office processes and administrative systems
• Organizing meetings, including coordinating and distributing agendas, supporting documents and minutes, and following up on outstanding actions

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in touring, live events, or production staffing

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Confident communicator, able to work with a range of stakeholders
• Proactive approach with the ability to problem-solve and work independently
• Commercial awareness and ability to balance creative and practical considerations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
