Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Labor Compliance Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of California Labor Code for Public Works.
• Experience auditing certified payroll documents preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with government agencies and unions.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review payroll records, benefits, and apprenticeship paperwork for compliance.
• Audit documents, calculate underpayments, and report to counsel.
• Investigate noncompliance with wage, benefit, and apprenticeship rules.
• Establish case files with all relevant documentation.
• Verify contractor licensing on CSLB and insurance coverage.
• Prepare weekly or monthly reports for clients.
