Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Travel RN-Labor and Delivery for Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage. Night shift, 12 hours per day, 3 days per week, for a 13-week assignment starting 9/30/2026. Compensation includes $1,260 weekly base pay and a $1,246 weekly stipend onsite.

Total weekly around $2,506, with EPIC EMR and LDRP unit on site in Alaska. Certifications required and strong teamwork expected. Must have LD experience with AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring, labor triage, OR circulator, and

Qualifications

• 1 year Labor & Delivery experience required.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required.
• Labor triage experience (QMP) preferred.
• OR circulator experience (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair) preferred.
• Newborn resuscitation experience (attending delivery for low-risk newborns) required.

Responsibilities

• Induction of labor, vaginal delivery, C-sections and tubal ligation procedures performed on unit(s).
• Labor triage and antepartum care as needed.
• Provide patient care in LDRP with adherence to unit protocols.

• Night Shift – 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech

Patient Ratios – we follow AWHONN acuity staffing ratios

Type of equipment – Client, Centricity Perinatal

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: LDRP

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• 1 year LD experience and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification required.
• Labor triage experience- QMP
• OR circulator experience (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair, etc.)
• Newborn resuscitation (attending delivery for low-risk newborns)

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

IUPC/FSE Placement

Assist with JADA/COOKS/BAKRI placement

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Induction of labor, vaginal delivery, c-sections, tubal ligation, labor triage, antepartum, d&c, vaginal repair, NST, IUFD, steroid injections (BMZ), external cephalic version.
