Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., a leader in beverage production, is seeking a Label Operator at our Sparta, MI facility. You will operate labelers on the line, ensuring accurate labeling in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include setup, adjustments, safety compliance, and changeovers while supporting food safety and quality. Benefits cover health, retirement, and wellness programs for production staff.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in a manufacturing environment operating production equipment.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and time management.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a production machine according to procedures.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Follow safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Perform label cuts properly and adjust glue application as needed.
• Request maintenance for ineffective adjustments to avoid downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance to resolve labeler issues.
• Operate all machine controls and keep the area clean.
• Perform size/bottle changeovers and ensure label application quality.
• Maintain food safety and quality, and support SQF requirements.
