Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc in Sparta, Michigan is seeking a Relief Operator for the night shift to run multiple lineEquipment in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing setting. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires forklift certification, strong attention to detail, and the ability to complete documentation.

The position runs 6p-6am, with responsibilities including operating filler, labeler, case packer, and depalletizer, performing quality checks, and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete machine operator training on all equipment.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to fill out documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate filler, labeler, case packer, box former, and depalletizer as needed.
• Perform quality checks on products and processes.
• Understand and operate safety switches, interlocks and devices.
• Start/stop machinery and manage machine controls (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
• Perform product cuts and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with operators to ensure correct boxes for the case packer.
• Maintain safety procedures and assist with size changeovers as needed.
