Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is seeking a Filler Operator to manage filling operations and ensure product quality and safety at our Sparta, Michigan site. You will handle changeovers, monitor critical parameters, and maintain accurate data records throughout production.

The role emphasizes clean work practices, adherence to QA specs, and collaboration with supervision to resolve production issues. Training and safety standards are priority in our fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience in a manufacturing environment operating production equipment.
• Analytical and decision–making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move juice from run tank to the filler and log temperature data.
• Operate filler to optimize production-line run time.
• Monitor bottle flow, clear jams, and alert maintenance of malfunctions.
• Retrieve caps and fill cap hopper; adjust cap hopper as needed.
• Adjust filler speed to maintain proper workflow.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments for smooth operation.
• Execute packaging changeovers on filler, rinser, and depal.
• Conduct required product quality control tests.
• Sample products at run start to confirm standards.
• Consult Processing Guide for QA specifications and tests.
• Record changes on temperature charts and track formula yield.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure wash processes are correct.
