Job summary

PPG Rock Hill Plant is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift (4pm–2:30am). The role focuses on accurate labeling of products, operating labeling machinery, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.

You will support quality control, monitor label accuracy (name, ingredients, expiration dates, barcodes), manage labeling supplies, and collaborate with production and QA teams to keep the line safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional manufacturing or quality control training is a plus.
• Previous labeling or production experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Basic understanding of labeling regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Labeling Operations: operate labeling machinery and apply labels to products; ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Quality Control: inspect labeled products for accuracy (name, ingredients, expiration dates, barcodes); maintain records.
• Inventory Management: monitor labeling supplies and report shortages.
• Collaboration and Communication: coordinate with production and QA teams; suggest process improvements.
• Compliance and Safety: follow safety procedures and participate in training on labeling processes.
