PPG Industries, Inc is hiring a Production Associate for the Rock Hill Plant. The role involves accurate labeling of products, operating labeling equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work closely with production and QA teams to maintain quality and traceability while meeting safety standards.

The job requires attention to detail, ability to lift 50 lbs, and teamwork. Prior labeling or manufacturing experience is preferred and the position offers 2nd shift hours (4pm–2:30am)

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in manufacturing or quality control is a plus.
• Previous labeling/production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Understanding of labeling regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Operate labeling machinery and apply labels to products accurately and in compliance with specifications.
• Monitor labeling processes for quality and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Inspect labeled products for accuracy including name, ingredients, expiration dates and barcodes.
• Maintain labeling records and documentation as required.
• Assist in managing labeling supplies and materials and report shortages promptly.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in training on labeling processes and compliance.
