Job summary

AAON, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Inventory Clerk for the R&D Lab. You will ensure safe receipt, storage, and organization of essential consumables, and conduct routine inventory to keep items in stock for ongoing projects.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and warehouse equipment, performing cycle counts, and coordinating with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy of records. Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of AAON mainframe and warehouse processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and utility vehicles.
• Locate, process, move, and stage project materials for smooth operations and timely completion.
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and records.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inventory needs and resolve issues.
• Ensure accuracy in inventory tracking, including location, quantity, and quality of materials.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to efficiently handle tasks for R&D projects.
• Report inefficiencies in processes to supervisor.
• Run weekly reserve stock reports and daily shortages to correct discrepancies.
• Organize and maintain NAIC to ensure safety and aesthetics.
• Attend bi-weekly R&D support meetings.

Education and Experience Requirements
