Job summary

AAON, Inc. seeks a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to move materials within a manufacturing facility. Operate forklifts and other equipment to transfer loads between loading, processing, and storage areas, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, securing loads, and inspecting for accuracy while supporting production tasks. Requires at least 6 months forklift experience, ability to lift 25–50 pounds, and passing a drug test/background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months forklift driving experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Ability to regularly lift 25-50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for 95% of work days.
• Ability to pass a drug test/background check.

Job Description

Operate industrial trucks, tractors, cranes, manlifts, or forklifts to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location.

Essential Job Functions

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely navigate around the warehouse or facility
• Perform variety of routine tasks to assist in production activities
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles
• Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
• Arrange sheet metal in warehouse

Preferred Education and Experience

The individual will have a minimum of 6 months forklift diving experience, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
