Manpower is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician (Lab Testing) for a 6‑month contract in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on performing lab tests, documenting results, and supporting engineering and R&D initiatives in a regulated medical device environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in laboratory, testing, manufacturing, quality, or regulated environments preferred.
• Strong documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry skills.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals, cleaning agents, and required PPE.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing activities following procedures and test methods.
• Accurately document test results and maintain detailed records in manual and electronic systems.
• Monitor test progress and report observations or deviations.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures, including handling of chemicals and PPE.
• Collaborate with engineering and laboratory teams to support testing objectives and improvements.
