Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in San Diego, CA is seeking a Mechanical Engineering/Product Development Technician with laboratory or regulated-environment experience. The role focuses on completing routine technical tasks, preparing reports, and supporting test setups and prototyping.

You will gather data, format engineering documents, and assist engineers with testing and hardware debugging while following written procedures in a first-shift, 40-hour workweek on a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides completion of technical tasks.
• Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
• Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documents, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics).
• Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.
• Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualifications.
• Works with team to organize lab functions; including calibration.
• Notifies manager or team lead upon recognition of factors that may affect project.
• Helps develop prototype processes and test set-ups.
• Executes designed test protocol and conducts testing.
• Effectively documents and communicates test results.
• Supports hardware debugging

• Their contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the unit.

Requirements

• Minimum Requirement: A combination of equivalent education and experience or a minimum of training beyond high school or secondary school in a technical discipline with more than 4 years relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
