WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV seeks a role supporting the Clinical Labs team. You will perform basic laboratory functions, specimen processing, data entry, and clerical duties to support patient care and accurate results.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, West Virginia PoC license, and some phlebotomy experience, with the ability to manage specimen processing, equipment checks, and quality control to ensure reliable patient outcomes.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• West Virginia PoC License required.
• Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) preferred.
• Six months of Phlebotomy, Lab Assistant or Cytopreparatory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare specimens to support basic diagnostic procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment for basic testing and specimen processing.
• Prepare reagents and solutions for processing and testing.
• Perform quality control to ensure reagent and equipment reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control of equipment.
• Report test results with limited errors and in a timely manner.
• Use time and resources efficiently to support patient care.
• Complete workload within turnaround times and adjust as needed.
• Communicate supply issues or unusual results to Supervisor/Manager.
• Perform clerical duties to support lab operations.
