Job summary

Atrium in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a Lab Technician to support manufacturing operations and laboratory activities. You will work with scientists, engineers, Quality, and Production teams to perform testing, support product quality initiatives, and maintain laboratory systems and equipment.

Candidates with experience in chemical manufacturing or related labs are encouraged to apply. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry is required. On-site role with Atrium Care Package benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience collecting, preparing, and testing samples in manufacturing/industrial labs.
• Experience performing quality control or laboratory testing on materials or products.
• Experience setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when documenting procedures, test methods, and results.
• Experience entering, reviewing, and managing laboratory or quality-related data.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory workspace.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, and analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples.
• Perform quality control testing, including particle size, density, moisture, viscosity, and other tests.
• Conduct routine analytical testing and document results per procedures.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Record, review, and enter testing data into databases and quality systems.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment.
• Adhere to EH&S policies and identify safety improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and R&D teams on improvements.
