Job summary

ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Biochemical Lab Technician for the Reagent Lab-Production to support reagent manufacture and routine laboratory operations. You will assist with equipment checks, documentation, and adherence to standard procedures in a high-volume environment.

The position reports to the Workflow Coordinator/Technical Supervisor and requires compliance with safety protocols, proper handling of reagents, and timely communication for instrumentation maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological sciences with required course work.
• Chemistry: Quantitative Analysis/Analytical Chemistry and clinical chemistry or biochemistry.
• Biology: biological sciences including medical, clinical or pathogenic microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture reagents and kits in the Reagent Lab-Production.
• Maintain records and documentation of procedures and results.
• Operate laboratory instruments and perform routine maintenance under supervision.
• Ensure safety and compliance with laboratory regulations and PPE requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field
