Job Summary: Provide quality checks on outgoing finished products using laboratory testing equipment, evaluate acid concentrations, and maintain and file appropriate quality production paperwork.

1. Testing levels of acids
2. Cut or shear orders for testing
3. Perform Bend testing
4. Deburring samples
5. Perform tensile testing
6. Perform metallographic sample preparation
7. Check work orders to be released and take out scrap
8. Scan files and lab packets
9. Complete and file lab paperwork
10. Handle waste materials properly, following safety and environmental procedures for containerization, labeling, storage, and shipping
11. Respond appropriately to chemical, oil, or acid spills using onsite spill response and training
12. Maintain housekeeping and conduct inventory of supplies
13. Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities: Same as above, emphasizing quality checks and lab procedures.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of math, measuring instruments, and computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret production orders and manuals
• Ability to operate inspection tools and equipment
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

• Vision abilities: close/distance, depth perception, focus adjustment; no color deficiency
• Multitasking capability
• Full-time schedule with overtime as required
