Job Summary:

Perform quality checks on outgoing finished products using laboratory testing equipment, evaluate acid concentrations, and maintain quality documentation.

Fundamental Duties:

• Testing acid levels
• Performing hydrogen tests
• Preparing samples for testing
• Conducting bend tests
• Deburring samples
• Performing tensile testing
• Running lab anneals
• Preparing metallographic samples
• Checking work orders and managing scrap
• Scanning files and lab packets
• Completing and filing lab paperwork
• Handling waste materials according to safety and environmental procedures
• Responding to chemical, oil, or acid spills as trained
• Maintaining housekeeping and inventory
• Performing other duties as assigned
