Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Lab Technician in San Diego to join a Test Lab team that supports quality, process engineering, and R&D. You will perform mechanical and wet lab testing, follow procedures, and help with data management and equipment upkeep.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and continuous improvement, with opportunities for growth within a global CGM leader and a strong benefits program.

Qualifications

• Institutional lab experience and safety mindset are required.
• Ability to read and edit written lab procedures for commercial use.
• Strong communication skills for team and customer interactions.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Macross for data analysis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute a wide variety of testing in a laboratory setting and record observations.
• Follow lab protocols, test procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain lab equipment, glassware and consumables inventory.
• Assist with data entry into datasheets and databases.
• Support processing of large data sets using macros and set programs.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment as needed and validate test methods.
• Support process qualification testing and GRR testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and 6S practices.
