Qualifications
- High School Grad or Equivalent required.
- Technical/Vocational School preferred.
- Phlebotomy training preferred.
- 1+ year healthcare experience required.
- 1+ year AdventHealth Lab experience preferred.
- Able to read/write English and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- May perform point of care testing, and related quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation and result reporting.
- Support department operations, including answering calls and clerical duties.
- Handle blood collection and processing, including specimen handling and reporting.
- Follow safety policies and use PPE appropriately.
- Train new staff and students as assigned.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
