Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy training preferred and clinical exposure.
• Experience in healthcare or AdventHealth Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• May perform point of care testing and related quality control.
• Collects patient and test order information for accounts and verification.
• Performs blood collection (venipuncture/capillary) as needed.
• Transports and processes specimens; prepares and loads preanalytical instruments.
• Trains new staff and supports education of clinical staff.
