Job Title: Lab Tech II R&D

Work Location: Bach Buxton Rd, Amelia, Ohio

Shift Schedule: Day Shift hours, Monday-Friday

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Conducts and analyzes routine laboratory experiments to identifycritical factors influencing outcomes. Demonstrates proficiency in executing diverse laboratory proceduresindependently and safely.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Experimentation and Data Analysis

• Independently conducts and meticulously documents experiments, accurately reporting andinterpreting results. Performs necessary calculations and collaborates with the supervisor to analyzefindings.

2. Equipment Maintenance and Procurement

• Operates laboratory equipment proficiently and performs minor maintenance as required.


• Manageslaboratory supply inventory, including placing orders and coordinating equipment repairs withmanufacturers.

3. Quality Assurance

• Ensures adherence to quality management system protocols through accurate documentation andprocedural compliance.

4. Safety and Hazard Mitigation

• Proactively identifies and communicates potential safety hazards, implementing recommendedpreventive measures.

5. Training and Knowledge Transfer

• Provides training and guidance to colleagues based on expertise and adherence to establishedtraining guidelines, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent.


• 2-3 years in laboratory environment preferred.
