Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking for an entry-level Lab Technician for one of our top food science clients. This opportunity will focus on various aspects of mill inspection, quality testing/assurance, microanalysis, raw materials, and much more!

Location: Hunt Valley, MD

Length: 6 month contract with a possibility to extend

Compensation: $18/hr - $22/hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform aseptic sampling of production line.
• Perform physical testing on samples collected.
• Tests may include density, granulation, coarseness, appearance, aroma, color, etc.
• Assist with daily housekeeping of laboratory environment, including glassware washing, autoclaving, sanitation of laboratory equipment, and maintaining inventory & documentation
  
  

Required Education:

• High School Diploma; College degree preferred.
• College degree with 0 years’ related experience OR 2) a high school diploma with 3 years’ of related experience.
• Some prior exposure to lab environment required (in school or industry)
• Candidate must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit good communication skills
