Job description

Apex Systems is looking for an entry-level Lab Technician for one of our top food science clients. This opportunity will focus on various aspects of mill inspection, quality testing/assurance, microanalysis, raw materials, and more!

Location:

Hunt Valley, MD

Length:

6-month contract with a possibility to extend

Compensation:

$18/hr - $22/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Perform aseptic sampling of production line.
2. Perform physical testing on samples collected.
3. Assist with daily housekeeping of laboratory environment, including glassware washing, autoclaving, sanitation of laboratory equipment, and maintaining inventory & documentation.

Required Education:

1. High School Diploma; College degree preferred.
2. Some prior exposure to lab environment required (in school or industry).
3. Candidate must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit good communication skills.
