Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Lab Technical Supervisor to provide technical and scientific oversight, resolve production issues, and help achieve department goals. The role emphasizes enhancing Laboratory information systems and streamlining workflows through effective communication and resource use.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) and relevant high-complexity lab experience, with supervisory exposure and quality-system familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for laboratory science.
• Master's Degree preferred for specialty areas such as chemistry, immunology, microbiology, or hematology.
• Four years of experience in a high complexity laboratory with Bachelor's Degree, or two years with a Master's Degree.
• Two years of experience in quality system implementation preferred.
• One year of prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and scientific oversight for production and resolve technical issues.
• Improve LIS and laboratory systems functionality and tool usage.
• Select, calibrate, validate, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot methods and equipment.
• Oversee and participate in the training of laboratory staff, students, residents, and others; prepare instructional materials.
• Perform tests and report results following SOPs for patient specimens and quality control; maintain documents and records.
