Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida is seeking a Laboratory Leader who will be accountable for the oversight of the Laboratory department, supervise daily activities, and model positive leadership to ensure tasks and projects advance departmental and organizational goals. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or Medical Technology with an ASCP/AMT/NCA license, and at least one year of professional clinical laboratory experience.

Required Qualifications

• Require a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a professional capacity in a clinical laboratory setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer previous supervisory experience.
• Prefer the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
• Prefer excellent communicator and listening skills.
• Prefer licensure as a Supervisor, under Chapter 483, Part IV, Florida Statute 61F-5.002 or able to qualify within one year.
