Lighthouse Lab Services seeks a Technical Supervisor / Laboratory Consultant to oversee high-complexity clinical lab operations across multiple client sites in California. The role combines supervision, testing oversight, and regulatory compliance with a hands-on leadership approach.

The ideal candidate holds relevant degrees, an active California CLS license, and proven experience with LC/MS and EIA platforms, supporting lab start-ups, validations, and quality programs.

Qualifications

• CLIA High-Complexity Technical Supervisor eligibility as described
• Active California CLS License required
• Experience with high-complexity clinical laboratories preferred
• Strong knowledge of CLIA regulations and quality systems
• Ability to travel between client sites

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision and consultation for assigned laboratories
• Establish and verify test methods and performance characteristics
• Oversee quality control, proficiency testing, and corrective actions
• Investigate technical issues affecting test performance and results
• Ensure compliance with CLIA and accreditation requirements
• Support lab Directors and leadership with operational improvements
• Perform high-complexity testing and data review
• Maintain instrument maintenance, calibration, and quality records
• Travel between client sites as needed
