Job summary

Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a Technical Coordinator to oversee night shift operations in the General Lab. You will apply advanced technical knowledge to testing, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead workflow while coordinating with supervisors.

The role includes supervising staff, maintaining QC/QA records, and driving quality improvements across the department. A strong background in lab science and certifications is required, with opportunities to contribute to special projects.

Qualifications

• Technical Coordinator I: 4 years of lab training/experience or a Bachelor’s with 2 years in nonwaived testing.
• Technical Coordinator II: BS in medical/biotech plus MLS or categorical certification; 2 years of nonwaived testing; 4 years if no cert.
• Foreign credential evaluation may be required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day workflow and provide operational leadership for the section/shift.
• Ensure quality control procedures and records meet accrediting standards; support QA programs.
• Monitor inventory and costs; assist with cost analyses and financial performance.
• Provide staff training, competency assessments, and coaching; participate in projects.
