Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled Technical Supervisor to lead technologists on the third shift. You will guide clinical gen lab operations and ensure excellent diagnostic care, with a focus on staff development and quality, on a night shift.

This role oversees 10 to 40 staff, enforces CAP/CMS/CLIA compliance, and drives process improvements using Six Sigma and Lean methods. A Bachelor’s degree in a lab science plus four years of high-complexity testing experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Four (4) years' training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
• Experience with supervision and staff development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, conduct performance evaluations, and supervise workflow for designated staff.
• Schedule and manage labor within budgetary guidelines and resources for expense reduction.
• Ensure accreditation and licensing compliance with CAP, CMS, AABB, FDA and CLIA and OSHA.
• Plan and coordinate activities to maximize service quality and efficiency; monitor performance metrics.
• Serve as resource and liaison for timely information dissemination within the organization.
