Job summary

Cortex Consultants LLC in California is seeking a Validation and Support Technician Level 3 - Domain Owner to support domain validation tasks, document Actions Required, and report test results to stakeholders.

The role involves mentoring lower-level technicians, performing ad hoc testing with minimal guidance, triage of domain-specific errors, and collaborating with engineers, customers, and internal teams to improve procedures and quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Ability to submit work request tickets and clearly document Actions Required
• Ability to Support IHV, Customers and Internal Stakeholders as directed from Senior technical leadership in the lab
• With minimal guidance, perform ad hoc testing as requested by engineer or fellow technicians
• Interfacing with and informing customers and stakeholders regarding assigned Action Required items, test results and inventory processes
• Weekly reporting of test execution to Stakeholders
• Updating Domain Matrix
• Provides detailed change requests to department procedures to improve efficiency and quality of work
• Identifying areas of improvement or risk regarding work tasks and make recommendations to lab management or lab staff as appropriate
• Able to aid and provide mentorship to lower-level technicians regarding their respective domain
• Provides first level triage and debug of domain specific execution halting errors in lab procedures and test environments
• Capable of performing Validation and Support Technician Level 1 and 2 Primary Roles
• Solder fine pitch surface mount components for minor board rework
