Job summary

Cortex Consultants LLC in Folsom, CA is seeking a Validation and Support Technician Level 5 Team Lead to oversee testing, defect triage, and stakeholder reporting. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders to align priorities and ensuring quality across tickets and procedures.

You will collaborate with Domain Owners and Subject Matter Experts to implement lab updates, develop new test content, and mentor junior staff while maintaining SLAs and weekly status updates for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Works with Stakeholders to ensure alignment with current priorities
• Monitoring Domain Work Ticket Queues to ensure team efficiency
• Reviews work tickets to ensure testing and reporting is of the highest quality
• Works with Domain Owners on Stakeholder Reporting Guidance
• Provides guidance on how to complete Action Required Items
• Works with Subject Matter Experts to perform feasibility studies on updates to Lab Procedures
• Create new test content with guidance from Subject Matter Experts
• Develop, test, implement, and update department documentation with suggested process improvements
• Provides Department Training of Procedures Used
• Works with Domain Owners to ensure that service level agreements are being met
• Provides End of Week Status update from team efforts to Stakeholders
• Provides third level triage and debug of critical execution halting errors in lab procedures and test environments
• Independently triages and reports complex defects with all required information to the defect management tools
• Gathers Requirements to execute Reference Validation Platform Milestone Checkouts
• Able to aid and provide mentorship to subordinate staff in all domains
• Capable of performing all Validation and Support Technician Primary Roles

• Works with Domain Owners on Stakeholder Reporting Guidance


• Provides guidance on how to complete Action Required Items


• Works with Subject Matter Experts to performs feasibility studies on new updates to Lab Procedures and Adaptation of new projects


• Create new test content with guidance from Subject Matter Experts


• Develop, test, implement, and update department documentation with suggested process improvements


• Provides Department Training of Procedures Used


• Works with Domain Owners to ensure that service level agreements are being met


• Provides End of Week Status update from team efforts to Stakeholders


• Provides third level triage and debug of critical execution halting errors in lab procedures and test environments


• Independently triage and report complex defects with all required information to the correct defect management tool (HSD-ES, IPS, Bugzilla, JIRA, Zendesk)


• Works with Subject Matter Experts to enable and verify new functionality on Reference Validation Platforms


• Gathers Requirements to execute Reference Validation Platform Milestone Checkouts


• Able to aid and provide mentorship to subordinate staff in all domains


• Capable of performing all Validation and Support Technician Primary Roles
