Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in Biology or Chemistry preferred.
• Laboratory experience preferred but not required.
• Keyboarding or data entry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous customer service.
• Collect blood specimens following venipuncture procedures and transport to lab.
• Assist technologists with instruments, reagents, and blood product handling.
• Identify instrument or equipment issues and notify appropriate personnel.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory checks, stock supplies, phone duties.
• Troubleshoot problems promptly and complete other duties as assigned.
