Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a phlebotomy technician to join our clinical laboratory team. You will perform venipunctures, process samples, and support monitoring tests in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of phlebotomy, lab processor, or lab assistant experience; enrollment in MT/MLT program allowed.
• Working knowledge of clinical laboratory processes; EKG experience and healthcare setting exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests per CMS/CLIA and Georgia guidelines.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens per Piedmont policies.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
