Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Georgia. You will perform venipunctures, process blood samples, and assist with non-clinical tasks while adhering to CMS/CLIA and OSHA standards.

No experience is required, though one year of phlebotomy experience and EKG skills are preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required, with certifications encouraged as a plus.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• No experience required; 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred; healthcare setting experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests per CMS/CLIA and OSHA standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens following Piedmont procedures.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
