Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. The role involves performing venipunctures, processing samples, and ensuring specimens are collected and prepared according to policy.

Relevant experience or enrollment in a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist program is welcomed; familiarity with CLIA, OSHA, and lab processes is a plus. This full-time position supports patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of phlebotomy, laboratory processing or laboratory assistant experience.
• Experience with EKGs and clinical lab processes preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs sample processing and venipunctures in compliance with CMS CLIA, OSHA, and state regulations.
• Obtains and prepares blood specimens according to Piedmont policies and procedures.
• Assists technical staff with non-clinical tasks.
