Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of IT business systems analysis experience required, with at least 1 year in complex lab/biotech projects preferred.
• Experience mapping and improving end-to-end workflows through automation and process improvements.
• Proven ability to document and validate requirements across technical and functional teams.
• Familiarity with SDLC lifecycles and methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Visio, and Lucidchart or similar requirements tools.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration, maintenance, and enhancement workflows across laboratory testing disciplines within an integrated laboratory systems environment, including ELN, SDMS, and instrument interfaces
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Translate laboratory workflows into functional specifications, process documentation, and system requirements
• Partner with laboratory users and senior analysts to understand business needs and prioritize enhancements and defect resolution
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased system efficiency within laboratory workflows
• Participate in system implementation, upgrade, and testing activities, including defect tracking and resolution support
