Boston Medical Center is seeking a Lab Support Technician to join the Lab Support Services team. Under general supervision, you will provide quality customer oriented laboratory services including specimen procurement, processing, and related procedures, ensuring efficient operation and mission fulfillment.

You will also train and guide less experienced staff, communicate effectively with laboratory users, and support evening/night coverage to maintain continuous service.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• One year of phlebotomy, EKG, and/or specimen processing experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Procure specimens and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Process specimens and related specimens using standard procedures.
• Perform specialized procedures as needed for specimen testing.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced laboratory support technicians.
