Mercy Family Medicine & Obstetrics is hiring a Laboratory Support Technician (LST III) to join the provider care team. The role emphasizes accurate, timely lab support, specimen collection, processing, and referral of specimens and reports.

You will assist technologists with test methods while upholding Mercy Service Standards and HIPAA confidentiality. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and at least one year of phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience, with preference for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience required.
• Previous Mercy LST II designation or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide accurate, timely laboratory support for reports, data and scheduling.
• Collect and process specimens using safe, professional methodologies.
• Transport and refer specimens and reports as required.
• Assist technologists with test methods as needed while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
