Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a skilled LAB systems administrator to deploy and manage LAB software in quality and production environments.

You will coordinate with LAB vendors, manage licenses, perform audits, and ensure compliance. Strong SCCM experience across 2007/2012 and WSUS is required, along with Windows OS deployment and device management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience deploying and managing LAB software and licenses.
• Excellent knowledge of SCCM, WSUS, patching, OS deployment, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Configure and monitor LAB-oriented software in QA and production.
• Coordinate with LAB software vendors and manage licenses and version control.
• Audit LAB devices and applications, ensure compliance with deployment protocols.
• Manage software inventory and vendor communications for upgrades.
• Test new versions, generate logs and reports, analyze impact on infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in SCCM deployment, client/server maintenance, and scripting.
• Create collections, packages, and applications within SCCM (2007/2012).
• Install and manage SCCM clients, perform remote control and distribution tasks.
• Administer SCCM, deployment, packaging, network inventory and boundaries.
• Deploy and troubleshoot Windows devices; support Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
• Handle GxP environment requirements in Life Sciences domain.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Lab System Deployment and Systems Management knowledge, Knowledge in handling GxP environment, JAMF, Windows 11, Windows 10. JAFM to manage Apple Devices, Microsoft Intune, Windows Auto Pilot. Rescue LogMeIn, Servicenow, Zoom, Microsoft SCCM preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configuring and monitoring the LAB oriented software within the LAB (Quality and production)
• Co ordinating with LAB software vendor and maintaining the license and version control
• Following the LAB device in and out protocols and conducting audits on the applications installed on LAB machines / Devices
• Managing the software inventory and frequent connects with Vendor for upgrade / alternate products recommended
• Testing the new versions and its effects on the infrastructure and producing the logs / reports
• Strong understanding of SCCM with advanced knowledge of application deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, client and server maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Experience creating collections, packages, applications within SCCM
• Should have strong experience in SCCM 2007 & 2012
• Experience in installation of Microsoft System Configuration Manager 2007-2012.
• In-depth knowledge of SCCM client installation, software distribution, remote control, and other SCCM issues.
• Expertise in SCCM Administration, deployment, packaging, network inventory, boundaries, installer and network designing.
• Experience in deploying, troubleshooting, and managing Windows devices
• Must have excellent competency with SCCM, WSUS and other patching tools.
• Experience in supporting Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019
• Knowledge in handling GxP environment in the Life Sciences domain

• Must be able to meet deadlines/Must be able to work after hours and some weekend if required by the business.

Salary Range: $65,000- $80,000 a year
