Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Minimum three years in a clinical lab, two in the assigned section.
• MT/MLS/MLT ASCP or AMT certification is required.
• Must be able to read, write and learn computer software; capable of obtaining specimens.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate personnel, equipment, resources and testing procedures in the lab.
• Compile QA statistics and attend departmental meetings.
• Supervise training and ensure regulatory compliance with CAP and Joint Commission.
• Research new technology and provide technical support to physicians.
